Please keep an eye on the homepage as due to the snow we may decide to cancel our trip to Ross on Wye. I will update asap. Thankyou 10pm Saturday 4th Feb Well the rain seems to have sorted out the snow problem but it's uncertain whether ice may be our problem tomorrow. At the moment the trip is on as Ross on Wye has identical weather to us. If the roads are icy we will have to cancel but the decision will have to be made in the morning sorry! CENTRE
Please note that the Cwmtawe Brass Band Centre will be open on Wednesday 11th January. We need full rehearsals with the Training and Senior Bands from now until the Gwent competition on the 28th January. Thankyou CENTRE TIMES
Cwmtawe Youth Band Centre re-opens on Wednesday 11th January. Times are as follows - Beginners, Juniors and Training Band 5:30pm to 7:30pm Senior Band 6:30pm to 8:30pm FORUM REGISTRATION
As mentioned in last weeks letter most information will now only be available on the website forum. All members are advised to register or re-register as the case may be. You then need to text or e-mail me the username you have chosen and identify who you are and I will then register you. This is a vital safety measure. N.B. This is for band members only. A course has been booked in Cardiff for September 14th, 15th and 16th 2012. The course is open to all 16yrs and under from the Training and Senior Bands. Names and deposits taken soon. EISTEDDFOD
Congratulations on a fantastic result of 2nd place in 4th Section at the National Eisteddfod in Blaenau Gwent. As the contest is run under British and not Welsh gradings and you were competing against bands who would normally compete in 2nd & 3rd Section it is a remarkable achievement. Well Done Everyone! We have had a few problems with the website but it is now up and running again thanks to the wonderful Marc Rumble. This page will be updated over the next few days. Senior and Training Band Forums
Both forums are now up and running. Please register online and then e-mail or text me or Alun with your username to verify your identity and we will then complete the registration.
